Top software industry executive joins Untangle Board of Directors

SAN MATEO, Calif., Feb. 2, 2007 – Untangle, Inc., an emerging leader in simplifying the way small businesses get the information technology they need, today announced that industry veteran Michael Cristinziano has joined the company’s board of directors.

“The Untangle board of directors and I are pleased to announce the addition of Michael Cristinziano to the board,” said Untangle’s President and CEO Bob Walters. “Cristinziano has been instrumental in growing Citrix’s application delivery, security, and networking business. He brings a valuable perspective on the important innovations and trends in our industry.”

Michael Cristinziano is Corporate Vice President, Strategic Development at Citrix Systems, Inc. where he is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, venture capital investments and investor relations. Under his leadership, Citrix has invested more than $600 million in strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining Citrix in 2003, Cristinziano was Managing Director at Harris Nesbitt (BMO Financial Group), where he covered the networking and software industries. During his tenure as an equity research analyst, Michael was recognized by The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and StarMine. Before joining Harris Nesbitt in 1997, Cristinziano began his Wall Street career as an analyst at Needham & Co. Prior to that, he served as a Member of Technical Staff at Telcordia Technologies. Cristinziano earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Temple University and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
