How It Works

See why Untangle and Malwarebytes are better together with these views from Command Center.

Under the Account tab, you can add your Malwarebytes Cloud credentials in the Integrations section to allow Untangle to see the hosts on the network.

The Summary lists all of the hosts seen, as well as their details. If a host is running Malwarebytes, the logo will appear on the left side. If a threat is detected, the host will appear in red.

The Endpoint Security information shows more details about the endpoint, allows you to run an antivirus scan, and provides access to your Malwarebytes Console.

The Installed Software tab allows you to see all of the software installed on that endpoint.

Benefits

Untangle Command Center’s integration with Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection is ideal for MSPs and IT professionals who manage small-to-medium business networks, offering these benefits:

  • Understand the security posture of your network and connected devices at a glance from a single pane of glass
  • Get key information about connected hosts alongside firewall status
  • Simplify management on the go with one cloud-hosted, responsive interface providing both Untangle and Malwarebytes administration
  • Take immediate action on any connected host by initiating an endpoint scan
  • Save time and headaches by streamlining oversight and management

Additionally, with Command Center’s extensive alerting capabilities, administrators can receive alerts about the threats that are detected on endpoints being scanned by Malwarebytes via multiple notification profiles (like email, Slack, Pagerduty, VictorOps or a customer webhook), providing greater control and improved response times when incidents do occur.
