Configure Your Own Hardware
You can run NG Firewall on hardware you already have, or build hardware specifically for this purpose. NG Firewall does require a dedicated Intel-based server installed at the gateway to your network. Meeting minimum hardware requirements is critical to ensuring Untangle runs efficiently on your own hardware.
Run NG Firewall as a Virtual Appliance
Run NG Firewall as a virtual appliance running in VMware ESX or ESXi. Utilize investments you’ve already made in your infrastructure while reducing complexity.
Run NG Firewall in the Public Cloud
Run in the public cloud to ensure safe, reliable, performant network connectivity and protection for your data, applications and users. Choose to run in Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure to connect your headquarters and remote locations.
